What is the Virtual Walk and Talk?
Due to current covid-19 restrictions we are planning a virtual Walk and Talk of beautiful Venice. This will provide an opportunity for those who stammer, their family and friends, or those with an interest in stammering to meet online and virtually Walk and Talk as they make their way around one of the world’s most beautiful destinations. The pre-recorded virtual tour will last for one hour.
All are welcome to join the tour, although children under 16 should be accompanied by an adult.
How do I take part?
Registration for this event will close at 6.00pm June 15th 2020. To secure a place please contact info@stammeringireland.ie or by press the RSVP button for the event, listed on our home page here: https://www.stammeringireland.ie/
To participate, you will need a reliable internet connection and computer, tablet, or smartphone. Most devices have built-in speakers. We will be using Zoom for our virtual tour. If you have not used Zoom on your computer before, you will need to download it before the virtual Walk and Talk. More info on using Zoom can be found at: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us
After you register your interest in the virtual Walk and Talk, you will receive a Zoom web link invitation. Please join us by clicking on this web link a few moments before the scheduled start time of 7pm. The virtual tour of Venice will be shared on your device screen and you will be also be able to see and chat with others on the tour if you wish.
