Irish Stammering Association is delighted to announce its Presentation skills course for adults who stammer. The purpose of the course, which takes place over two half days, is to demystify the process of preparing a presentation or speech.
The main outcome of the session will be for participants to engage more effectively when presenting.
During the course participants will develop essential presentation skills and increase personal presence. There will also be opportunities to discuss and address issues relating to stammering when presenting.
When: Sunday 16th November & Sunday 23rd November
11 am to 2 pm each day
Where: Dublin city centre location
Who: This course is aimed at adults who stammer who want to learn how to approach preparing and giving a presentation or speech.
What: The course is led by Donal Courtney of Playact and Gaiety School of Acting. Donal is an actor, director, writer and teacher who believes that acting skills can be applied in different environments to enhance and improve confidence levels. He has a wealth of experience in providing presentation skills workshops in both the private and public sector
Cost: €50 for members
€70 for non members which includes a years membership of ISA
This course is subsidised with funds gratefully received from Hospital Saturday Fund
