Once again, there was a good attendance at NSAD, Ireland’s 6th National Stammering Awareness Day which took place in the Ashling Hotel, Parkgate Street, Dublin on Saturday October 20th when the day featured speakers talking about their experiences of stammering. There were breakout sessions to allow attendees to chat and talk to about stuttering. There was a short documentary as well as speakers who gave ideas on how to change and manage your stammering and where you can get support.
The special workshops for children and young people who stammer were a great success and parents of children who stammer took part in a workshop run by Speech and Language Therapists and ISA’s Parents’ Support Network.
We look forward to seeing you next October when NSAD will take place again!
