The Irish Stammering Association are running another information night (with a view to setting up support/self-help groups) next week in Laois.

Tuesday, 6th March 2012, 8pm in the Maldron Hotel, Portlaoise, Co. Laois.

Speakers on both nights -ISA Committee Members, Councillor Michael Ryan, Templemore and Sarah McCormack, Portlaoise, both people who stammer.

We know it can be hard to come into a room of strangers, but we are all in the same boat and we know how it feels. So if you stammer or know someone who stammers and want more information we’d be delighted to meet you.

The ISA self-help groups provides valuable emotional and social support for people who stutter, in a non-judgemental, relaxed environment. The burden of stuttering can be considerable, and you don’t need to carry this alone. Also a great way to make new friends!
